Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions:
- Whisk the olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, and dried herbs in a small bowl.
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and coat thoroughly in the garlic herb marinade.
- Heat a 12-inch oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until the oil shimmers.
- Place chicken in the pan and sear for 5-7 minutes per side without moving them until golden-brown.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for 5-8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from heat and let the meat rest for 5 minutes before serving.
