Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups (180g) graham cracker crumbs
- 0.25 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp (85g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Pulse whole graham crackers in a food processor until they resemble fine sand, or place crackers in a freezer bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar.
- Pour in the melted butter and stir with a fork until the mixture looks like wet sand and there are no dry clumps.
- Dump the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate or springform pan. Use the flat bottom of a measuring cup to press the crumbs firmly into the bottom and up the sides.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8 minutes until the crust smells nutty and looks golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and cool completely before adding your filling.
