Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and cocoa powder, whisking until the mixture is smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously for 2–3 minutes until the batter reaches the ribbon stage, becoming slightly pale and thick.
- Sift in the flour and salt. Using a silicone spatula, gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet batter until no streaks of white flour remain.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 25–30 minutes.
