Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and cocoa powder, whisking until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously for 2–3 minutes until the batter reaches the ribbon stage, becoming slightly pale and thick.
  4. Sift in the flour and salt. Using a silicone spatula, gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet batter until no streaks of white flour remain.
  5. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake for 25–30 minutes.
