Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

  • ½ tsp Dried Oregano
  • ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch

Instructions:

  1. Measure all dry ingredients—chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch—into a small glass jar, ensuring all measuring tools are completely dry.
  2. Whisk the mixture vigorously with a fine-mesh whisk or seal the jar and shake for 30 seconds until the powder is a uniform rust color with no white streaks of cornstarch visible.
  3. To use: Brown 1 lb of protein and drain fat. Sprinkle the entire batch of seasoning over the meat, add 2/3 cup water, and simmer for 3-5 minutes until a thick, glossy sauce forms.
