Ingredients:
- 1 box (18 oz) Premium Fudgy Brownie Mix
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup Water
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 roll (16 oz) Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 1/2 cup Semi sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp Green sanding sugar
- 1/4 cup White royal icing
- 1 tbsp Football shaped candy sprinkles
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Note: This ensures the leavening agents react immediately upon entry.
- Grease and line a 9x13 inch pan. Use a light coating of non stick spray under the parchment to keep it from sliding.
- Whisk the brownie mix, 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup water, and 2 eggs. Stop the moment no dry streaks remain until the batter is glossy.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly. Use an offset spatula to ensure the corners are filled, as these areas cook fastest.
- Crumble the 16 oz cookie dough. Distribute small, marble sized pieces across the surface until the brownie is 80% covered.
- Press the 1/2 cup chocolate chips into the gaps. This creates a mosaic effect once the dough spreads.
- Bake for 35 minutes. Check the center with a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs, not wet batter.
- Cool completely for 1 hour. Note: This is critical for the fats to re solidify and the structure to set.
- Dust with 2 tbsp green sanding sugar. Apply while the surface is slightly tacky so it adheres.
- Pipe the white royal icing. Create yard lines or football laces until the theme is clearly visible.
