Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (380g) fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup (40g) red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup (10g) fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeño (15g), de-seeded and minced
  • 1 clove garlic (3g), turned into a paste
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground cumin

Instructions:

  1. Combine the onion, garlic paste, jalapeño, lime juice, zest, salt, and cumin in your bowl.
  2. Whisk the aromatics together and let them sit for 5 minutes until the onions look slightly translucent.
  3. Add the blueberries to the bowl.
  4. Fold in the cilantro (10g) gently. Mix until the berries are glossy and coated.
  5. Taste and adjust with an extra pinch of salt if the sweetness is too dominant.
