Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (510g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz / 397g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, cubed

Instructions:

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to create a sling.
  2. Combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cubed butter in a large microwave-safe glass bowl.
  3. Microwave the mixture on medium power for 1 minute, then remove and stir.
  4. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring vigorously after each burst, until the mixture is glossy and completely smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared pan and use a rubber spatula to smooth the top into an even layer.
  6. Let the fudge sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  7. Transfer the pan to the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until the fudge is firm to the touch.
